Antisoma is a biotechnology company specialising in the development of novel drugs for the treatment of cancer and has a diverse portfolio of drugs in development including ASA404, a leading Vascular Disrupting Agent (tVDA), that will shortly enter phase III in lung cancer. Antisoma last year licensed ASA404 to Novartis in a deal with a milestone value of up to $890 million. Another drug, AS1411, is in phase II, and the company has two other drugs in clinical development as well as pre-clinical-stage prgrammes.
