BABS Biomarker Services

With generous support from the East of England Development Agency, a new consortium has been established at BioPark to provide biomarker consultancy and analytical services on an 'open access' basis. At the heart of the service will be a MesoScale Discovery Sector Imager 6000 which uses an ultra-low noise charge-coupled camera (CCD) with custom designed telecentric lenses for rapid biomarker detection. Whether multiplexing biomarkers and cytokines or simply screening kinases, ubiquitin, ligases, integrins or GPCRs, the system offers a simple no-wash format with minimal consumption of reagents.
